I went into Jim Shorkey Kia with very very low expectations because of our previous car purchase at a Toyota dealer. My husband and I knew our budget and refused to go even 1 cent over it (I am very cheap!) A friend of ours recommended Steve Parco as a contact person/sales rep. Steve contacted me the following day giving me information on the Optima and a quick background of the dealership and of himself. He gave me his phone number and schedule...and made a potential appointment with him on saturday....
When we walked into Jim Shorkey Kia we were greeted by everyone. We immediately test drove the Kia Optima (what a beautiful car it is!). I fell in love with it but my hopes weren't really high because my budget was so low. The trade in value of our car was pretty close to blue book (which changed my husbands point of view of the place...) Steve helped me negotiate the price several times and the finance person, Adam, was very patient and found me the lowest interest rate possible. The final amount was still $6 (yup, $6...) higher than I wanted and Steve knew I wasn't messing around...He did what he had to do to get the price BELOW my projected price :) Steve and Adam both went above and beyond to make me happy. The car is unreal!! You name it this car has it. I would have never ever seen myself driving a car like this. I am so happy with the purchase and I am so happy with the dealership. I had no choice but to bring in my 3 year old as well..you would have thought that would have been a disaster but every employee came by to have some sort of conversation with him to keep him occupied. They even had lunch there for us (Nice touch!!) I recommend Steve Parco to anyone and everyone-he was very TRUSTWORTHY and treated me and my family the same way he would want to be treated. He made us feel comfortable and never once pushed me in any direction or rushed me...it was soley my decision and he made me feel confident in whatever decision I made. Thank you Steve, I appreciate everything you have done for us!!!
Adam in finance was also very patient and took the time to introduce himself to us long before he actually got to sit down with us. He also went above and beyond and knew his job. He explained everything to a T and yet had us out in a timely fashion. Thank you Adam for everything!!!
Another sales rep, his name was Tom-he took us on the test drive and helped with the trade in...He also was very nice. He has a large family as well and showed pictures to my son to keep him busy. He showed us what the car can do and did what he could do while Steve was busy. Thank you Tom...We appreciated your help!! Anyone looking for an awesome dealership I recommend Jim Shorkey Kia!!
Again, everyone (including you Jeff) Thank you so so so much for all of your help! It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be to walk in that dealership. I was dreading it from thursday on!! What a pleasant experience! And thank you for lunch!! :) I love my purchase so much!! Happy Birthday to me :)
