The days of Winter are finally behind us. Now is the time to look at the damage the ice, salt and snow did to your vehicles appearance and get it ready for those warm, sunny days! Vehicles are designed to withstand those elements, so unless your vehicle was buried in the snow all winter long, you should not have too much to do! We talked to some of our master technicians who gave us some tips on what you can do to get your car ready for Spring!
Wash your car, or better yet — get it detailed!
Now is the time to make sure all the salt is removed, as it can be quite damaging to your vehicle over time. Getting a full detail will provide a deep clean, inside, and out!
Change your wiper blades!
We had a lot of snow this winter, so your wiper blades had to work overtime! Those spring showers are on the way, so grab yourself a new set of wiper blades !
Check your wiper fluid!
After the winter we had, it may be empty!
Check your tire pressure, and the condition of your tires and brakes!
Now is a good time to make sure all tires are properly inflated. Check for any cracks, the tread or anything that could lead to a potential blow out.
Here at Jim Shorkey Auto Group, our technicians at Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Fiat, Kia, Mitsubishi, Ford, Chevrolet, and Alfa Romeo can help with any of these things. Contact any one of our Jim Shorkey locations to schedule your appointment today!
